Talent4Health is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Staten Island, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Perform OB/GYN, vascular, neonatal, and abdominal sonograms. -Obtain images according to protocols to include all pertinent patient and exam data on each film with optimal patient positioning and sonographic technique -Demonstrates competence in performing all ultrasound examinations, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. -Ensures that patient charges are properly recorded into the computer system and procedures are tracked accurately. -Reads, understands and accurately implements physician's prescriptions/orders. -Thoroughly explains all procedures to patient, thus alleviating fears and/or anxiety. -Prepares room for patient and exam. Assure the room is clean and equipped with the necessary supplies. -Verifies name and properly identifies procedure being performed. -Assist the radiologist in performing ultrasound guided procedures. -Replace chemicals, films and processing equipment as needed. Requirements: -High school diploma or GED -Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound. -Two years' experience in OB/GYN ultrasound. -ARDMS-registered or successful completion of ARDMS certification within first six months of employment.
