Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification, BLS, and strong experience in Breast, OB/GYN, General, and Vascular sonography.

• Work in a hospital setting utilizing GE Logic E9 and E10 ultrasound units
• Perform breast, OB/GYN, vascular, and general ultrasound examinations
• Schedule is 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM, 7 days on/7 days off, Monday through Sunday
• Call required for 1 shift/night (11:00 PM–6:30 AM) and every 8th weekend
• Initial training consists of 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday
• Patient caseload includes a variety of general, breast, OB/GYN, and vascular exams
• Duties include providing a range of diagnostic ultrasound services for a diverse patient population
• Team members must be comfortable taking call as scheduled
• Training is mandatory during the first week and may affect initial hours
• COVID vaccination is not required but declination documentation is necessary if unvaccinated
• Vaccinated candidates must provide documentation

• Active ARDMS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years ultrasound experience, with proficiency in breast, OB/GYN, general, and vascular sonography
• NIH Stroke certification required before start
• Completion of 8 hours of CEUs during facility orientation
• Caregivers must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify
• License required if applicable
