Travel Ultrasound Technician (General) Location: Watertown, NY 13601 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (no overnights; limited weekends after mid-August) Guaranteed Hours: 36/week Contract Type: Travel | Allied Health On-Call: Not required Weekly Gross: Up to $2,340/weekOvertime: • Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier) • Weekly OT after 48 hours (based on multiplier) Position Summary: A healthcare facility in Watertown, NY is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment. This role includes performing general ultrasound exams, including vascular and obstetric studies, on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Requirements: • Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography • Minimum of 1 year of imaging experience • Proficient in general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology • Experience with major sonography equipment (hardware and software) • Vascular and obstetric scan experience required • Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) • Current BCLS certification • Must maintain all required state and federal licenses/registrations • Strong English communication and reading skills • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities • Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and independent decision-making Additional Information: • The facility is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from Women, Minorities, Individuals with Disabilities, and Veterans.
