Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel job in Fairfax, Virginia.

Job Description:

• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and sterile supplies before surgery.
• Assist in positioning and prepping the patient for surgery.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all aseptic techniques are followed.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after the procedure with RN.
• Handle specimens and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Clean and restock the OR after each case.
• Ensure surgical instruments are properly decontaminated and sterilized.

Qualifications:

• Must have VA license.
• Must have Ortho experience

• BLS
