- The Seasonal Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for the implementation of the physician's order for Occupational Therapy services.
- The Seasonal Occupational Therapist should provide all necessary aspects of Occupational Therapy within an interdisciplinary environment in order to facilitate the return of the patient to as independent and as safe of a lifestyle as possible.
- The Seasonal Occupational Therapist must utilize a growth and development knowledge base in the care of children (pediatric), adolescent, and geriatric patients.
- The Seasonal OT demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served and also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development.
- The Seasonal OT possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed.
