Number of Beds : 88 inpatient beds

Patient Ratios: Per treatment load. No more than 45 therapies per 12 hour shift

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 2 therapist per shift

Type of equipment: 980 ventilators, V60 bipaps, Airvo High-Flow, Auto CPAP

Documentation system: Meditech

Scheduling requirements: 3- 12 shifts with rotating weekends

Floating policy: N/A

Patient Experience requirements: Know department 2x2 s

Must have:

Advanced skills needed: Intensive Care and Emergency department experience including code blue roles and rapid response roles.

Procedures performed on unit: Bronchoscopies, intubation, and code blue assistance

Certifications Required: RRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

Caribbean blue scrubs
