Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum two years required License: Ohio RRT license required Certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS Must-Have: Experience in PEDS, PICU, NICU (high level care level 4) Description: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications are required. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Candidates must have an Ohio RRT license in hand. Work will primarily involve RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU with pediatric patients. May be required to float to various NICUs. Candidates must have prior experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU settings. Travelers will need to complete two fingerprintings as part of the hiring process. All work history must be included in the application profile. A negative ten-panel drug screen, including nicotine testing, is required. The facility operates on a smoke-free policy and is nicotine-free. References must be from managers or supervisors in the specialty applying for and from assignments worked in the past 12 months. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. Candidates must be fully committed to this position and all compliance requirements if offered.
