Job Title: RRT Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience License: Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 2 years of critical care experience Job Description: - Work in a respiratory care department with 209 beds and 23 staff members - Collaborate with a team including 1 manager and 4 therapists during the day and 3 therapists at night - Patient ratios vary depending on census and acuity - Utilize equipment such as PB 980, 840, and respironics V60 - Use EMR system, Meditech - Perform general respiratory floor therapy, including assessment-driven protocols - Work in an 18-bed mixed ICU - Provide post-op CV surgery care - Demonstrate a positive, patient-centered attitude and be a team player - Float across all areas of the hospital as needed - Work every other weekend, with no on-call requirement - Adhere to the dress code policy with appropriate scrub attire
