Job Description:A reputable healthcare facility in Auburn, NY is currently seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a strong clinical background and the ability to work independently. This role may include charge responsibilities and requires experience with a variety of respiratory modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and manage ventilators, including LTV and Servo units
• Administer BIPAP therapy using V60s and high-flow oxygen therapy via Vapotherm
• Evaluate and monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation
• May serve as Charge Therapist during assigned shifts
• Respond effectively in emergency situations
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Must hold a valid New York State (NYS) license to practice
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong experience with ventilators, BIPAP (V60s), and Vapotherm
• Must be comfortable working independently and taking initiative
