Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patient with some PCU level of care patients. We are also the oncology and stroke unit. MS patients are 1:5-6 ratio and PCU patients 1:3-4 Will have cardizem, amio, insulin drips Will see unstable strokes and BiPap MPCU is a dynamic mixed acuity unit comprised of both medical surgical and progressive levels of care. Areas of care include oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal and pulmonary.
