Position Summary: Jacksonville Rehab Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist for a travel assignment. The therapist will play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, improve function, and enhance their overall quality of life following injury, surgery, or illness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve movement, strength, balance, and coordination
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and manual therapy when appropriate
• Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques for continued rehabilitation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists
• Document patient progress, response to treatment, and therapy outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility protocols
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (Doctorate preferred)
• Current Florida PT license or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or acute care setting
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience with neuro and orthopedic rehab populations is a plus
