Medefis 288807Seeking a licensed California Staff Pharmacist with experience in acute care hospital pharmacy. Candidate must have excellent clinical knowledge and strong organizational, teaching, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret medication orders
• Prepare and dispense medications including sterile solutions
• Monitor drug therapies and advise medical staff
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Use EPIC for documentation and pharmacy workflow

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience
• Extensive knowledge of medications, disease states, and therapy monitoring
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
• Sterile solution preparation experience
• Familiarity with pharmacy laws and regulations

Preferred:

• Pharm.D. degree
• ASHP-accredited residency or equivalent experience
