General Information
o Beds: N/A
o Will you accept a traveler with 1 year experience? No, 2 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types:
o Adult patients >18 years of age
o Very acute patient population. Primary patients will be in ICUs and PCUs
o Travelers may have their own ICU assignment but most likely would assist with treatments and tasks with another staff RT
o Travelers will have a 16-22 treatment floor assignment
o Will not go to ED
● Required Certifications:
o BLS, RRT or CRT
● Skills required
o ABG (Gem 5000) draw/analysis, assist with intubation, wean/extubate, vent management, bipap, cpap, nebulizers
o ICU experience
o EPIC experienceTechnology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC – mandatory; please find out how recent this experience is. If not recent, very difficult to teach with orientation time constraints
o Vents: Servo-U, Servo-I, Hamilton
o Nitrous Oxide System: Noxbox
o Bipap/Cpap: V60s
o High Flow O2: Optiflow
12hr Night Shift (36)Must HaveBLS, PALS, minimum 3 years respiratory experience of previous Neonatal Pediatric respiratory experience
