Job Responsibilities:Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimensAssist in autopsies and preparation of tissue samplesWork collaboratively with pathologists in surgical pathology, histology, cytology, and general pathologyEnsure proper documentation, labeling, and handling of specimensMaintain compliance with laboratory protocols and quality standards

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant programNYS license as a Pathologist Assistant (required)Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pathologist Assistant

Required Experience In:Surgical PathologyHistologyCytologyGeneral PathologyAutopsy Pathology

Additional Requirements:Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
