SHIFT TIMES: 8a-6p - 8 hrs between 8a - 6pWORK SITE: 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810Monday-Friday**Pathologists' Assistant position**Ensure appropriate specimen accessioning and obtain clinical historyAssist with gross description, dissect surgical specimens and prepare tissue for processingAssist pathologists in frozen section preparation and in the procurement of FNA specimensObtain biological specimens for analysis and preform special proceduresPhotograph pertinent gross specimens and microscopic slidesOther duties as assignedRequired:ASCP (PA)Masters degree in relevant academic discipline.Completion of post graduate training at an approved NAACLS approved program or equivalent.3+ yrs. experience Preferred:AAPA fellowship or associate
