Position Summary:A facility in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Travel RN for their PACU night shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years PACU or perioperative nursing experience, with strong clinical skills to manage post-anesthesia patients safely overnight.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, recognizing complications and adverse reactions

• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments per physician orders

• Document patient care accurately in Epic

• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure patient safety and quality care

• Follow hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years PACU experience

• Epic experience required

• Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
