    Job Details
  • Clark Regional Medical Center is a 79 bed, community hospital serving east central Kentucky since 1917.
  • The hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Features updated technology including new and expanded services such as Diagnostic Services, larger capacity Emergency Services, home-like Labor and Delivery Suites, all private patient rooms, and a skilled nursing facility (Transitional Care Unit or TCU).
  • Campus includes a 45,000 square foot Medical Plaza housing Clark Clinic (primary, specialty and urgent care clinics), Diagnostic Center for Women, Center for Rehabilitation, Specialty Clinic and Anticoagulation Clinical.
  • In 2017, completed a 45,000 square foot expansion of the Clark Clinic providing services such as cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, sleep clinic, wound care clinic, center for rehabilitation, Coumadin clinic, congestive heart failure clinic and additional physician suites.
  • Position is for RN in PACU specialty.
  • Role requires basic nursing skills/assessment skills and circulator skills/competency.
  • Common diagnoses/treatments include General, Ortho, Urology, ENT, Cataracts, GYN, C-section, Endoscopy.
    Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required.
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
  • Minimum Associates' Degree in Nursing.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 0700-1730 (2 shifts).
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
  • Weekend hours: On-Call.
  • Call requirements: 4 main call, 4 back up call per month including holidays and weekends.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Facility Department/Cost Center: PACU 0401.
  • Role: RN in PACU specialty.
  • Number of beds: 6 OR beds, 2 Endoscopy beds.
  • Patient population: Geriatric, Adult, Adolescent, Pediatric.
  • Required skills: Basic nursing skills/assessment skills; Circulator skills/competency.
  • Common diagnoses/treatments: General, Ortho, Urology, ENT, Cataracts, GYN, C-section, Endoscopy.
    Additional Details
  • Unit Profile: PACU department, 6 OR beds, 2 Endoscopy beds.
  • Patient population includes Geriatric, Adult, Adolescent, and Pediatric patients.
  • Equipment: All OR equipment.
  • EHR system: MedHost.
  • Dress code: Facility supplies scrubs; must change into facility scrubs.
