- Registered Nurse role in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for General Surgery, Plastics, Pain Management, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Vascular cases.
- Minimum 2 years Post Anesthesia Care experience required.
- Patient population includes Adult and Geriatric.
- Common procedures include pain injections, eye surgeries, EGD, colonoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, wound debridement, port insertion/removal, plastics including breast implants and implant removal, AV Graphs, Fistulogram, tunnel catheters.
- Job Requirements
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- PALS certification preferred.
- Associates Degree required.
- Schedule Information
- Shift from 0600 am until cases are completed.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- No weekend hours.
- Call requirements: Late stay (3-5) Monday-Thursday, no scheduled cases after 5 pm daily.

- Facility Department/Cost Center: Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
- Role: Registered Nurse.

- Number of beds in PACU: 4.
- Patient population: Adult and Geriatric.
- Patient ratios: 1:2.
- Equipment: Accucheck, Spacelab monitoring, Suction.
- EHR: OR Manager Picis transitioning to OR Manager Meditech.
- Additional Details
- May float to Day Surgery to assist in pre/post op care.
- Unit has 4 beds in PACU, 5 Operating rooms, and 2 Endoscopy suites.
- Patient ratios: 1:2.
- Equipment includes Accucheck, Spacelab monitoring, Suction.
- EHR transitioning from OR Manager Picis to OR Manager Meditech.
- Dress code: Surgical green scrub color provided; see dress code policy for unacceptable attire.
