- Travel RN- Operating Room Circulator/Scrub
- Able to take call weekdays and weekends-day and/or night call
- Must be able to Scrub and Circulate for all specialties other than Open Heart/Neuro
- The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room
- As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT's and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department
- Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
- Job Requirements
- Active FL state or multistate license required
- 2 years in a multispecialty OR or traveling experience required
- Strength in ORTHO and C Sections required
- Schedule Information
- Shift: flexible between days/mids
- Prefer 8 hours: Days 0630 to 1500, Mid 1030 to 1900
- If deal breaker 12 hours: Days 0630 to 1900
- Able to take call weekdays and weekends-day and/or night call
- Unit Specific Information
- Operating Room Circulator/Scrub
- Must be able to scrub and circulate for all specialties other than Open Heart/Neuro
