Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Syracuse, NYStart Date: August 4, 2025Contract Length: 13 WeeksSchedule: 5x8s | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMWeekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative therapy team as a Travel Occupational Therapist working across acute care and outpatient settings. This is a full-time contract role designed for experienced therapists who can deliver comprehensive patient-centered treatment and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Occupational Therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician

• Develop individualized care goals in consultation with care teams, patients, and families

• Perform patient evaluations and re-assessments

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Participate in rounds, clinics, and interdisciplinary meetings

• Provide education to patients, families, and staff

• Maintain equipment and therapy supplies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

• NYS Occupational Therapy License or eligibility – REQUIRED

• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care and outpatient settings

• BLS Certification (AHA) preferred

• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
