Title: Staff Nurse – Med Surg MT4 Surgical StepdownLocation: Johnson City, NYDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Nights – 3x12 hours (36 hrs/week)Requirements:

• Current NY State RN License
• BLS & ACLS Certifications (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
• 6 months–3 years RN experience (Med Surg / Stepdown)
• Critical care level experience required: vents, vasoactive gtts, sedative gtts
• Epic experience preferred

Description:The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with NYS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Scope & Standards, and Hospital policies. Responsibilities include:

• Managing a group of patients as primary/accountable nurse
• Educating patients/families on health promotion & disease management
• Administering medications safely
• Collaborating with healthcare team & participating in shared governance
• Maintaining professional development and completing mandatory education
