Location: New York, NY

Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Duration:13 Weeks

Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,504.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $684.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,820.00 Per Week

Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides high-quality care based on nursing theory and research for a designated group of patients.

Essential Duties: 2 YEARS STEPDOWN, TELE, MED SURG EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Provide patient care through the nursing process, utilizing research, evidence-based practices, and organizational standards.
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team in planning and implementing patient care.
  • Prioritize care activities, including patient education and post-hospital care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Role-model Relationship Centered Care (MSHRCC) by utilizing practices such as hourly rounding, medication review, and patient discharge wrap-up.
  • Ensure a safe and quality care environment by following best practices, protocols, and evidence-based strategies.

    • Skills Required:

    • NYS RN License
    • BLS Certification
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiology, tele, and VAD
    • 2 years of RN experience
    • 1 year of travel nursing experience (for Travel positions only)
    • Experience with EPIC system is highly preferred

    Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
