JOB SUMMARY-

Assist the Director in implementing and coordinating the Hospital's Risk Management and Claims Program.

The Risk Management Coordinator will assist the Director of Risk Management in conducting, coordinating and overseeing investigations by hospital administrators, ensuring the integrity of investigations and timely completion investigations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE-

• Three (3) years Risk Management related experience in a healthcare/hospital or related setting required, experience in psychiatry and/or substance abuse settings preferred.

• Clinical background as an RN, PA or MD preferred in a healthcare/hospital or related setting.

• Experience in Justice Center and state agency investigations, including conducting Root Cause Analysis under NYS DOH and investigations of Allegations of Abuse/Significant Incident cases.

• Experience in Justice Center reporting and interacting with regulatory and oversight agencies.

• Demonstrated ability to lead/chair special committees and writing meeting minutes. • Experience in interacting with clinical, medical and administrative leadership at all levels.
