Requirements:

• BSN required

• NY RN License (active)

• Minimum 2 years RN experience

• Minimum 3 years Risk Management-related experience in a healthcare/hospital setting (psychiatry and/or substance abuse experience preferred)

• Required Certifications: BLS (AHA)

• Charting System: Allscripts

Role Overview:The Risk Management RN will assist the Director of Risk Management in implementing and coordinating the hospital's Risk Management and Claims Program. Responsibilities include conducting, coordinating, and overseeing investigations, ensuring integrity and timely completion.

Preferred Experience:

• Clinical background as an RN, PA, or MD in a hospital/healthcare setting

• Experience with Justice Center and state agency investigations, including Root Cause Analysis under NYS DOH

• Experience with Allegations of Abuse/Significant Incident case investigations

• Strong background in Justice Center reporting and regulatory agency interactions

• Ability to lead/chair special committees and draft meeting minutes

• Experience collaborating with clinical, medical, and administrative leadership
