Responsibilities As a healthcare professional in a Adult Mental Health facility, you'll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include: Accurately administers prescribed medications and initiates intravenous therapies. Conducts thorough health assessments to identify client problems and needs, formulating and implementing individualized nursing care plans. Makes daily resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status and to implement any required nursing interventions. Responds to resident and family concerns and ensures that each concern is documented, and a resolution is initiated or communicated to appropriate staff.
