PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.

• Contract: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour days (various times)
• Radius Rule: Must live at least 60 miles away (permanent residence).
• Requirements:
  • Must have completed at least 1 successful travel assignment (new travelers will not be considered).
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Previous hospital RN experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • IV certification required.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
  • Ability to assess and meet patient needs (clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual).
  • Must recognize safety issues and properly implement lifts to move patients safely.
  • Ability to function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous Samaritan employees must have been gone at least 2 years and be eligible for rehire to be considered (contact facility for inquiries).
