Job Title: Pediatric Cardiac Care ICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Nursing Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN License (New York only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Pediatric cardiac care experience required Description: The Pediatric Cardiac Care Center provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnosis, medical/surgical treatment, and long-term follow-up care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with all types of acquired and congenital cardiac conditions. The nursing staff is specially trained to care for patients with the most complex and/or rare congenital cardiac disorders. The center is the only pediatric cardiac care center in the region. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric cardiac care nursing. An RN license valid in New York is required. BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory.
