🏥 Position Summary: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Location: Watertown, New YorkFacility Type: Likely a hospital under the Samaritan health systemContract Length: 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week or 48 Hours options availableShift Type: Nights- 12-hour shifts – 12hr Nights - weekend, holiday and call required7p-7:30aDistance Requirement: Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles away

✅ Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active NYS RN license
• BLS & ACLS – Required
• IV and IV contrast certification – Required
• Coronary care course or pass challenge exam within orientation
• Basic lethal dysrhythmia course within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS certification within first 6 months
• Previous travel experience required – Must have completed at least one successful assignment
• Cannot have worked for Samaritan in the last 2 years unless eligible for rehire

💡 Preferred (But Not Required):

• Current critical care experience
• PALS certification
• Charge nurse experience or willingness to act in that role
