Title: Staff Nurse – Stepdown Location: Johnson City, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights – 3x12 hours (36 hrs/week) Requirements:

• Current NY State RN License

• BLS & ACLS Certifications (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

• 6 months–3 years RN experience (Med Surg / Stepdown)

• Critical care level experience required: vents, vasoactive gtts, sedative gtts

• Epic experience preferred

Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with NYS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Scope & Standards, and UHS policies. Responsibilities include:

• Managing a group of patients as primary/accountable nurse

• Educating patients/families on health promotion & disease management

• Administering medications safely

• Collaborating with healthcare team & participating in shared governance

• Maintaining professional development and completing mandatory education

• Supporting new staff and students
