The PCU RN will provide intermediate-level care to patients who are stable but require close monitoring and advanced nursing care, often transitioning from intensive care or managing complex medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.Descriptions:

  • Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
  • Ratio / Census: 1:4 Ratio; 12 Beds
  • Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
  • RTO: MAX 7 days
  • Weekends: FRIDAY-SUNDAY SCHEDULE
  • Floating: Possibly in low census times

Key Responsibilities:

  • IV therapy/Phlebotomy
  • Blood Product Administration
  • Central line care/management
  • Peripheral Line Care/Management
  • Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response
  • Interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Management of dysrhythmias

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as RN.
  • ACLS, BLS from AHA.
  • COVID card or Medical / Religious Exemption.
