This facility has the region's largest and most comprehensive emergency department. They offer a state-of-the-art ICU and PCU. The facility has 205 licensed beds. Achieved an A in hospital safety ratings. You will be working on a PCU unit with 12 beds. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1. The equipment includes computers on wheels, IV pumps, and typical unit setups. The electronic health record system used is Paragon. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, and A-fib RVR. Preferred qualifications include NIHSS certification. Ideal candidates will be proactive, outgoing, friendly, and team-oriented. Education requirement is an Associate's Degree in Nursing. PCCN certification is preferred.
