Travel RN – Critical Care (Adult PACU) – Eve/Nights

• Location: Syracuse, NY

• Start Date: 9/19/2025

• Shift Type: Evenings/Nights

• Shift Times: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM & 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

• Schedule: 6 shifts in a two-week period

• Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend

• On Call Requirements: None

Job Summary:Seeking experienced Critical Care RNs for the Adult PACU/Recovery Room. PACU experience preferred but critical care experience is required. This is a 13-week contract providing pre- and post-operative patient care with minimal orientation.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN license

• BLS certification (current, with ability to recertify)

• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience in hospitals of similar size or trauma level

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Duties:

• Perform majority of patient care skills in PACU and pre/post-op critical care

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments in the acute care setting with minimal supervision

• Provide safe, high-quality care to post-operative and critically ill patients
