HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Reno, Nevada.

Must Live 100 Miles AwayShift time starts at 0630; Day shifts, 4 shifts per weekShifts will either be 4 ten-hour shifts or combination of 2 eight-hour shifts with 2 twelve-hour shiftsCall is 5-6 shifts per month including weekend shifts
- 2 Years OR RN Acute Care Experience - Required
- BSN - Preferred
- RN License - Required
- Travel Experience - Preferred
- ACLS, BLS, PALS - Required
The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available.
