Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in DeRidder, Louisiana.

• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, OB/GYN (including C-Sections), and GI Lab procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms for procedures, ensuring necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and functioning.
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery; anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Administer medications and assist with anesthesia monitoring per protocol.
• Maintain accurate, timely intraoperative documentation.
• Enforce strict infection control practices and sterile technique.
• Provide patient and family education pre- and post-operatively as needed.
• Take rotating call with the ability to respond within 30 minutes of notification.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff to deliver safe and efficient surgical care.
• Proficiency in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, OB/GYN (including C-Section), and GI Lab procedures.
• Ability to take call immediately in all listed specialties
