Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of experience preferred. License: RN License (New York state license required) Certifications: BLS Certification (American Heart Association required), ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: - Two (2) years of OR experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred. - Ability to scrub and circulate. Description: The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. There are two Davinci robots used by multiple services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts. Strong ortho background and experience with specialty cases such as transplants, plastics, and reconstructive surgeries preferred. Experience with craniotomy is also desired.
