Position Overview:HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a travel contract in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a major hospital in Rochester, NY. This unit specializes in post-operative care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal, genitourinary, ENT, and colorectal procedures, with a focus on oncologic conditions.

RNs on this unit play a critical role in supporting complex recoveries, monitoring for complications, and providing emotional and clinical support to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, post-operative nursing care for surgical oncology patients

• Monitor telemetry and patient vitals, reporting any abnormalities

• Collaborate with surgical and oncology teams for individualized patient care

• Assist with wound care, drains, IV therapy, and medication administration

• Educate patients and families on discharge care and recovery

• Function in charge nurse role as needed

Required Qualifications:
