The RN reports directly to the New Beginnings Birth Center Manager.

Special Demands Physical: Long periods of standing, walking, and heavy lifting. Exposure to blood and body fluids, unpleasant sights, smells and infectious diseases possible.

Qualifications Education: RN graduate with current Colorado licensure. Must have current CPR certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and ACLS within one year of employment.

Experience: 4 years experience in Obstetrics care preferred.

Skills: Knowledge of or interest in learning labor, delivery, postpartum and nursing care essentials. Principles of sterile technique and infection control. Skilled in technical aspects of mother/infant care. Able to perform effectively in highly stressful situations. Able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people and have good communication skills.
