The Travel OB/GYN Registered Nurse provides specialized care to patients in the obstetrics and gynecology unit, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and surgical recovery. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations to ensure the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

• Monitor and assess patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Administer medications and manage pain control as prescribed.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Provide newborn care and support breastfeeding education.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• NRP and STABLE certifications.
• Experience in travel nursing.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.

• Hospital-based OB/GYN unit.
• 12-hour night shifts.
• May include weekends and holidays.
• High-acuity and emotionally demanding environment.
