💰 Pay Package
  • Total Hourly Pay Rate: $87.03/hr
    • W2 (Taxable): $18.00/hr
    • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $69.03/hr
  • Weekly Gross: $3,133.00 per week (based on 36 hours)
    • W2 (Taxable): $648.00 per week
    • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,485.00 per week
📝 Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal ICU RN to join our KP 3 NICU team. The Clinical Nurse provides safe, competent, high-quality care to critically ill newborns using evidence-based practice and the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to Level III/IV NICU patients, including mechanical ventilation and ostomy/bubble CPAP management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Document thoroughly in EMR (EPIC preferred).
  • Educate and support families in neonatal care and discharge planning.
  • Float to other women's & children's services units as needed.
Requirements
  • Active NY RN License
  • BSN required (ASN accepted with relevant experience and/or BSN enrollment)
  • BLS & NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years recent hospital NICU experience
  • Mechanical ventilation, ostomy, and bubble CPAP experience
  • Level III & IV NICU experience required
  • EPIC experience highly preferred
  • Travel experience preferred but not required
Unit Details
  • Avg. Unit Census: ~45
  • 46 beds
  • Staffing ratio: 1:1–3 depending on acuity
  • Schedule: Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12 per week, every other weekend + 4th shift per month
