Start Date: 9/15 End Date: 1/10/2026 – 17 weeks only Position: Registered Nurse – Neurological Specialty Unit Job Summary: An exciting opportunity awaits as you begin your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent unit to develop your knowledge of various neurological diseases while applying your nursing and critical thinking skills. You'll care for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and more in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. As a Joint Commission-accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, this unit handles many acute and complex neurological cases. Nurses work closely with a specialty team using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures. Requirements: • Telemetry experience required • Active NY RN license only • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience • BLS – American Heart Association • NIHSS certification highly preferred NURSE's Etc.
