Job Title: Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU (Night Shift)

Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit

Job Location: Tyler, TX 75701

Job Duration:13 weeks (Travel Assignment)

Shift: Night – 3x12 Hour Shifts(7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Years of Experience Required:Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, with specific experience in Neuro ICU settings required.

• Neurological Critical Care:
  • CVA/Acute Stroke Management
  • External Ventricular Drains (EVD)
  • Intracranial Pressure (ICP) Monitoring
  • Hypothermia Protocol / Arctic Sun
  • Lumbar Drains
  • Post Craniotomy Care
  • Post Neurosurgery Management
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response:
  • Interpretation of Dysrhythmias
  • Management of Dysrhythmias
• IV Therapy (Preferred)
• Respiratory/Thoracic Care (Preferred)
• Travel Nursing Experience (Required)

Education & Credentials:

Minimum Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – 2-Year Degree
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – 4-Year Degree

Licensure:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Valid for Texas

Certifications (Required):

• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA)
• BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
• NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
• EMR: Epic
• Travel Experience: Required
