Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year required in specialty License: State nursing license must be in hand at time of application Certifications: BLS required, NIH & ACLS preferred Must-Have: Stroke experience required, floating is mandatory Description: Ratios are 1:5-6. Floating to the medical surgical unit is required. Travelers are welcome to apply, including first-time travelers. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty. A COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions only. A flu vaccine is also required, with medical/religious exemptions only. Two references from charge nurse or above are required in the application profile. 50% of holidays and weekends on contract are required. All travelers will be expected to float to any area as a Patient Observer (sitter). Post-Partum may float to medical-surgical units. Modules are completed during orientation and annually, varying by specialty.
