Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: BLS Required MS/Tele Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions Patient Diagnoses: cardiovascular, wounds Special Procedures/Unit Details: Nurse to patient ratios 1:4-5 (days); 1:5-7 (nights). Rapid response team activation. 1 year of recent experience -We have PCT's on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG's and any sort of activity of daily living -We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines Special Equipment: Hoyer lifts, wound vac Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteed Float Required: MS, ICU, ED. If staff float to ICU or ED it is to care for Med/Surg level patients or be helping hands. Will not practice outside of scope Years of Experience Required: 1 year First time travelers accepted Every other weekend required EPIC is preferred 1st time US travelers must have Epic experience Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No RTO Restrictions: Please keep RTO close to 1 week Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule? No locals (75 miles) Scrubs: Navy blue/white Orientation: 4 hours. Modules prior to starting, 4 hour classroom with Educator, rest of the 12 hour shift is spent orienting on the
