Rochester Regional Health System is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join their 2600 MS/Tele unit. This role involves providing high-quality care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as cardiac disease, stroke, infection, pulmonary embolism, and post-surgical recovery.

Unit Size: 27 bedsNurse-to-Patient Ratio:

• Days: 1:5
• Nights: 1:7Support Staff: Patient Care Technicians, IV Team, Phlebotomy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary, Rapid Response Teams.Required Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 1 year recent MS/Tele RN experience
• Certifications: BLS (required)
• Skills:
  • Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • IV therapy/phlebotomy
  • Oxygen therapy and respiratory support
  • Isolation precautions/PPE use
• Charting System: Epic (required for first-time travelers)
