Join a team where your skills save lives and your care makes all the difference.Now Hiring: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg and Tele (Neuro Cardiac Unit)Location: Newburgh, INSchedule: Day and night shifts (630-7); every weekend and every other holiday rotation; 48-hour schedule possibleDuration: 13 weeksImportant: Applicants must reside 50 miles or more from zip code 47630Key Responsibilities:• Deliver direct patient care in alignment with established protocols• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders• Experience with post cardiac caths with interventions, CVA/TIA, ICD, complex abdominal surgeries, and oncology.• Floating is possible to 2 other local hospitalsQualifications:• Active RN or compact license in Indiana• At least 1 travel assignment completed and Level 2 Trauma experience required• Minimum 2 years of Strong Tele/Med/Surg experience required• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required• Dysphagia Screen and Strong Neuro assessment skills are required• Travelers required to pass a Tele test• Must have experience to initiate and titrate drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac, etc.) heart cath recovery (fem. & TR bands) and have strong critical thinking skills• Prefer experience with NG/PEG tubes, PIV Insertion, Tikosyn doing, and chest tubes• EPIC experience is required
