• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years RN experience
  • Travel experience required
  • Previous charge nurse experience preferred but not required
• Certifications (Required):
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS(AHA)
  • NIHSS
• Preferred:
  • OCN and/or Chemo Immunotherapy Certification
  • Community hospital experience

• Chemotherapy & oncology care (inpatient setting)
• Port access, IV starts, central line care
• PCA & infusion pump management
• Neutropenic precautions
• Sepsis management
• End-of-life care
• Monitoring chemo, patient/family education
• Spinal cord compression, tumor lysis syndrome, altered mental status
• Wound care, Foley management, IV push narcotics
• Interdisciplinary collaboration

• Beds: 19
• Daily Census: ~16
• Staffing Ratio: 1:5–6 (may go up to 1:7 on rare occasions)
• Weekend Requirement: 4–5 weekend shifts per contract
• Float Requirement: Must float to like units as needed

• Call: May be placed on call 1x per pay period (12hr shift)
