🧠 Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care while promoting health, preventing illness, and advocating for patient needs. The RN is accountable for delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with NYS Nurse Practice Act, UHS policies, and ANA standards.

• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications safely
• Educate patients/families on disease management
• Support unit-based and organization-wide initiatives
• Promote evidence-based practices and continuous improvement
• Mentor and support new employees and students

• License: Active NY RN License
• Certifications: BLS (AHA, HSI, or Red Cross)
• Experience:
  • At least 6 months–3 years RN experience required
  • Preferred: 5+ years in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Preferred:
  • Epic EMR experience
  • BSN or nursing specialty certification
  • ACLS, PALS, TNCC depending on unit needs
