Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current WI License Certifications: CPR/BLS, Vaccinated for Flu Must-Have: Ability to float to other units, every other weekend and holiday availability Description: We are seeking experienced nurses. The candidates must have a current WI License and CPR/BLS certification. RN must be vaccinated for Flu. Traveling RNs may be required to float to other units. This position will require working every other weekend and holiday, with 12-hour shifts (Nights 6:30 PM to 7 AM). Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care. Documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by a Physician or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise and guidance to other units or departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates concerns to the appropriate chain of command.
