Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar unit. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with conditions such as spinal stenosis, PVD, diabetic ulcers, lung carcinoma, and pleural effusions. The nurse will work a block schedule Thursday to Saturday nights. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5-7 during night shifts. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Floating to other units may be required. Charting will be conducted using the Epic system, which is a hard requirement for this position. COVID-19 vaccination is not required. Flu vaccination status is currently unknown.
