Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

• Provide care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, including:
• Post-CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, heart failure, MI, and arrhythmia management
• Perform ongoing assessments, vital signs monitoring, and titration of cardiac/vasoactive IV drips
• Manage ventilated patients and monitor invasive hemodynamics (e.g., arterial lines, central lines)
• Assist with post-procedure recovery from cardiac cath lab interventions
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (cardiologists, respiratory therapists, rehab, pharmacy, etc.)
• Initiate and manage protocols for sedation, pain control, and post-op recovery
• Operate and manage specialized cardiovascular ICU equipment such as:
• Ventilators, arterial line monitors, infusion pumps, and potentially balloon pumps or Impella (if applicable to unit)
• Assist with bedside procedures or transport to cath lab
• Document assessments, medication administration, and care delivery using EMR
• Communicate clearly with patient families and advocate for patient-centered care
